Le Golf is ideally located in downtown Saint-François, right next to the marina.

The golf course itself is beautiful and extremely well landscaped. It was designed by renowned American architect Robert Trent John Senior.
For the record, Robert Trent was a golfer himself, but ill health prevented him from pursuing his dream of becoming a professional golfer. So he turned to architecture, and became the benchmark for golf course design.
We owe him the Golf de la Caraïbe Française Outre-Mer de Saint-François, which he designed in 1978 (as well as the Golf de la Martinique created in 1976).

This is an official stage of the Alps Tour (European tour), and Golf de Guadeloupe is the only stage to take place in the French overseas territories, much to the delight of participants. The Open is the most important high-level professional tournament in the West Indies.

The Saint-François golf course is a hub of activity, with the Marina and Casino de Saint-François just moments away. It’s easy to stop for lunch or a drink at the many restaurants located around the golf course.
With the departmental airfield nearby, you can get to the golf courses on the neighboring islands of St Kitts, Martinique and St Lucia in less than 45 minutes.

Golf des Abymes in Pointe-à-Pitre
Even though the Golf des Abymes is not located in Saint-François, we’d still like to tell you about it, since there are only two golf courses on the island, and this is the second one.
It is located in Les Abymes, near Pointe-à-Pitre, not far from the airport.
This is a more modest golf course than Saint-François. It is considered a compact 9-hole course.
If you’re new to golf, this could be the place for you, as it’s a club school. The Roger Bambuck Club School lends you the clubs to use on the driving range. It’s the ideal place for an initiation.
The club is very dynamic and has a great atmosphere. Numerous events and tournaments are organized throughout the year. Golf des Abymes members also make frequent trips to Saint-François, notably to take part in the Ladies’ Meeting at the Saint-François International Golf Club.
