That said, it\u2019s no mean feat to make your way along this path, as it can be tricky once you\u2019ve passed Imerovigli. It\u2019s about 9 km in all. It\u2019s a good four-hour walk, one way. Santorini\u2019s most popular wines are its dry whites and the sweeter amber-colored Vinsanto, ideal with desserts. Both are made from the indigenous Assyrtiko grape variety. N\u00e9a Kam\u00e9ni is a volcanic island in the Aegean Sea. It lies at the center of the Santorini caldera. It is the active part of the volcano that gave rise to the present-day islands of the Santorini complex. The island is crowned by a crater. Its highest point is 150 meters high. <\/p>\n\n

Some boats make a short stop on the edge of the island\u2019s geothermal points, which heat the sea below. A must-see! <\/p>\n\n

6. Sailing around Santorini <\/h2>\n\n

To get around Santorini, you can always rent a car. But remember, if renting a car seems like a good solution, you\u2019re in the Cyclades, on an island, so a boat is also an excellent way.
